In the past, I think running 3D Mark will make the computer become very hot.
But with new config. I find the score is much higher than before and it is
not hot at all. Here is the config. of my 7 computer.

J&W 750a SLI motherboard, AMD X4 955, 260GTX, 6G ram.

J&W 750a SLI motherboard, AMD X4 955, 260GTX, 4G ram

J&W 750a SLI motherboard, AMD X4 945, 260GTX, 4G ram

XFX 750a SLI motherboard, AMD X4 945, 260GTX, 4G ram

These 4 computers, each with OS WinXP, WinXP64, Vista 32, Vista 64, Win7 64
bits. Each with 1 2.5" 250G to 320G harddisk, 2x 250G to 500G harddisk. On
board display. They scores about 11xxx in 3D Vantage, 16xxx in 3D Mark 06,
and 21xxx in 3D Mark 05. The onboard display with fast cpu make 3D mark 05 &
06 scores very high. They are not hot at all.

J&W P45 motherboard, Intel Q6600, 2x 5750, 4G ram, OS Win7 32 & 64 bits,
Vista 32. 3D Mark 06, 13xxx, 3D Mark 05 16xxx, 3D vantage 104xx

J&W P45 motherboard, Intel Q6600, 2x 5770, 4G ram, OS Win7 32 & 64 bits,
Vista 32, 3D Mark 06 13xxx, 3D Mark 05 16xxx, 3D vantage 112xx

It is quite surprise, that 2x 5770 only scores higher than 2x 5750 in 3D
Mark Vantage. Perhaps crossfire is not good for higher speed display card

Inno3d 680i motherboard, Intel E4600, 2x 260GTX in SLI. E4600 is quite old.
But it make 2x 260GTX in SLI mode very stable and not hot for benchmark. It
only scores in 88xx in 3D mark 06. But in 3D Vantage, it scores 147xx. OS
WinXP, WinXP64, Vista 32 & 64, Win7 32 bits.

XFX 750a SLI motherboard, AMD X4 945, 260GTX, 4G ram
These 4 computers, I buy 2x 750Watt Power Supply, together with an old 600W
& 650W power Supply, I now can SLI with these 4 computers each with 2x
260GTX. Now I get 18xxx to 19xxx in 3D Vantage, 16xxx in 3D mark 06 and
21xxx in 3D mark 05 in SLI mode. They are not hot in cold weather.

I replace Inno3D 680SLI with J&W 750a SLI, AMD 9600, 2x 260GTX, 500W power
supply. I cannot run SLI and they are still good for normal application. I
wait for Nvidia new display card or AMD 6x CPU or perhaps Intel cpu, if they
are cheaper.
